22:28 - 2005-05-17 What have I got to say to you anyway? May Day has come and gone. I have pictures and it was wonderful and there was frolicking and lying around on the grass in white May Day dresses (skirts, actually) on blankets and dancing when we wanted to. I even have pictures. Yay! *dances* After that was finals week and on Friday of finals week, there was midnight breakfast, eaten with great glee and tunneling in the tunnels that run under the school. So cool. That was also the night that power across campus chose to go out. Merion's didn't come back until nearly 3 am -- and it went out sometime around 7. Particularly unpleasant surprise of the evening was finding out that Michael was in my dorm, on my floor during this event. So creepy. Dear Athena, I hate that creep. Didn't realize he was friends with Gill. So glad that no one I'm rooming with next year likes this guy. Will be a rule of the Hall Group: No Michael Tint here ever. Mari and Dana were departed during this time, on account of being in NYC. Then much work for rest of finals week and packing, owing of life, soul and first-born child to Dana, horrible mucky ups with flight home, but made it back to where people love me. Also left people who love me. Glad to be back with Heather. Didn't realize how much I missed her until I saw her again. It's really weird not having a roomie again, not being able to walk a hundred yards and go see Erika or a little farther and see Mar, having everything be so spread out. Saw allergist yesterday, got blood drawn today for bloodwork allergy tests & a thyroid check. Shitty kind of birthday present, but that's life. Am now on 5 or 6 different medications, including one whose name is so long they have to abbreviate it on the bottle. The pills are huge. Mercifully, I'm only on that one for two or so weeks. Also, the doctor says my allergies might merit Prednisone. That one's got some nasty long term side effects. I'm going to try to avoid that one. Anyway, that's life. Had lamb, mashed potatoes and chocolate mousse for my birthday with champagne, went out last night in quasi-celebration of my birthday with Heather and Liz. Shall consider next sleepover official celebration, especially since all we did was DDR and I didn't do much of that. Somewhat annoyed that Sin City is no longer in theaters as I really wanted to go see it again, but I guess I'll just have to wait until it comes out on DVD. And that's most of life. I'm 19 and one day. Go me.
